We arrived in Beijing this morning, and after many phone calls between our hotel and our taxi driver, arrived at our new home for the next 2 months. We have a very nice room, with what appears to be our very own reverse osmosis water filter, so we may have drinking water on tap, which is exciting. We unpacked, took showers and naps, and then headed out to find lunch and a few house supplies. We ended up more successful than expected, thanks to a huge underground Mall nearby.
We’ll do some more exploring tomorrow, along with Ryan who should arrive here from Sydney in the morning.
